A former employee from the British Ministry of Defence and expert when it comes to aliens and UFO’s has told the BBC news that England is ‘wide open’ for aliens and that the consequences of not keeping an eye on aliens can be enormous.
Nick Pope resigned from the Ministry of Defence because the UFO and alien research was being canceled despite the growing number of UFO and alien reports.
Initially Pope knew nothing about UFO’s and aliens when he started to work at the Ministry of Defence. He was actually very skeptical about it and felt that it was all nonsense.
“But then I looked over some old registered cases that go back to the 1950′s and noticed that there have been over 10.000 UFO reports since that time. Sometimes the UFOs have been detected on radar, and in some cases even fighter planes were send towards it. But that only showed us that the UFOs had far superior speed and maneuverability.” says Pope.
“I found it interesting but also worrying. It may sound dramatic when I say that we are ’wide open’ for aliens, but our air defense does indeed appear to be regularly penetrated by foreign aircraft. ”
Nick Pope had about 200 to 300 UFO reports per year. He examined each case and concluded that 80% could be normally explained, 15% gave too little information to give a good judgment, and 5% very interesting.
At the Ministry of Defence there was a constant struggle going between the skeptics and the ‘believers’. Pope explained that over the past few decades a large number of influential public figures have been involved in the UFO phenomenom. He gives lord Hill Norton as an example, a former chief of staff for the Ministry of Defence who is firmly convinced that UFOs are real and that this is a serious problem for national security.
At present UFOs are the most important subject where citizens call the Ministry of Defence for. The answering of all these questions and subjects takes all the time of the UFO department so there’s no time left to investigate the phenomenom.
The most extraordinary UFO sighting in Britain was done in Rendlesham Forest in 1980. This concerned a UFO actually landed near two military bases. There were clear traces found and radiation were measured as high as 10 times normal.
In 1993 a giant triangular UFO flew over the midlands. This UFO has been spotted by serveral RAF police officers and othe defence personel.
“There is no evidence that they are hostile,” Pope continues his argument. “But since our air defense is broken, attention must be paid. I would like to see the government and the scientific community do more research. ”
To the question: Where do UFOs come from? Pope says: ‘There are several theories. Aliens, time travelers from the future, beings from other dimensions – frankly I do not know. What is certain is that they are here, they really are, are observed on radar screens and are seen by the military. So I want to be taken seriously. ‘
