Nemrud Dagh, TURKEY
Here lies the ruins of the lost kingdom Commagene.
In 62 bc a mysterious royal sancutary was build by King Antiochus the first.
Collossal statues were created of lions and eagles and persian and greek Gods.
As well as two massive statues of the King himself.
The hilltop was build handmade 150ft high and 500ft wide.
Researcher think it was a stage for carrying out rituals and performances.
Carved in stone the king shows himself handschaking all the gods.
As if the gods (Aliens) recognized him as one of their own and welcoming him to heaven.
Mysteriously both the sight and the kingdom were abandoned in the first century AD.
And so far the king legendarial burial chamber hasnt been found yet.
Just why did King Antiochus build this mysterious and massive sanctuary?
According to researches evidence has been found! At Nemrud Dagh.
Evidence found at Nemrud Dagh suggests that King had big interest in and understanding of star sciences.
Example:
The arrangment of stars on the lion horoscope representated the constellation of Leo.
Constellation Leo only as seen in the sky in july 62 bc. A configuration that wouldt been visible again for 25.000 years. Further evidence of the exeptional knowledge of the stars was found in a nearby shaft that Antiochus has build. The shaft runs into the mountain with an angle of 45 degrees and is about 150 meters long. With nothing at the bottom !
But, on two days of the year the suns rays would have illumination the bottom of the shaft. Once when in line with the constellation of Leo and once when in line with Orion.
